some thoughts from the posts by jerm and edison....i was jux thinking thru..i gt the same experience of being fearful of cristism by others..perhaps this is the reason why i stopped singin in zhan mei xiao zhu for quite so long..i noe i dont haf the talent of singing..but who m i singing for? i m strugglin to go back to the choir but cos of certain reasons..i didnt.... maybe its the tests from God ya..tad's why i was being called to be in the band..( jux formed recently)...
i was jux thinking..why should we even bothered of wad ppl think hw we sing..and stuff since we r singing for God...some people are comparing how the choir members sing..hw well and lousy they are and stuf..ya..i jux wonder why? the bible says praise the Lord with all our heart..but why are we commenting or comparing with others? No one is perfect except God ritez. any comments?

No matter how much effort one put in eg. 100% or even 120% effort.. others will still criticized.. some will acknowledge for what you have done and thnk you, but there will be some that will always criticized ppl..(feeling that they are rite and everyone shld act in his/her ideal way) guess that is what life mah..
Today saw the way you layout the music rm.. the way the chairs shld be place.. not having gaps in between chairs.. the set up and everything... think you really done very well yup.. ; ) really.. thoughtful also.. making sure things are rite.. that's cool.. can pass done your thoughts and consideration in all that preparation to younger gens ya? lol
Hmm yup definitely not wrong to say that... all of us shld sing praises to our God.. Especially from the heart within..yup.. singing can be very gd but might not be from the heart(as in not for God but for ourselves..) ya I do fall in that area sometime.. singing for myself and not for God.. can see that you felt quite hurt by comments from ppl.. but i guess maybe it is like..if we think we can serve with our voices why not? and if we think we can serve better in other areas why not? Comments will be made by ppl.. But one thing for sure.. God sees our heart.. yup.. and I think you got the rite Heart! cool..
